Potassium deficiency resulted in low net photosynthetic rate, low activities and contents of Rubisco (ribulose-biphosphate carboxylase) and Rubisco activase, and low soluble protein, especially initial activity of Rubisco, but it did not decrease in chlorophyll content at first.
