Effects of three nutrient solutions on growth and N, P and K concentrations in lettuce cultivars using hydroponic system

In order to study the effects of three nutrient solutions (Hoagland, and Massantini 50% or 100%) on four lettuce cultivars, an experiment was carried out using a randomized complete block design (3x4) with four replications. Each experimental unit comprised 320-cm-long rows with 20 cm between plants on the rows and 50 cm between the rows. Plants were harvested before heading and a number of growth parameters and N, P and K concentrations were determined.
