Efficiency of IvomecReg. in the fattening of station-tested pigs

Efficiency of IvomecReg. in the fattening of station-tested pigs

Roczniki Naukowe Zootechniki 28(2): 285-294

The studies involved 996 gilts, 26.7% of which were infected with intestinal nematodes. As a result of Ivomec treatment, the prevalence of intestinal nematode infection in the pigs decreased from 26.7 to 16.9%, with a decrease in mean intensity from 1160 to 304 eggs per gram of faeces. The lowest efficiency was observed for Ascaris suum and Trichocephalus suis Generally, Ivomec proved to be efficient for 72.2% of the infected population.
