Evaluation on the resistance of wheat cultivars (lines) to Rhizoctonia cerealis Varder Hoeven and screening of resistant germplasms

Evaluation on the resistance of wheat cultivars (lines) to Rhizoctonia cerealis Varder Hoeven and screening of resistant germplasms

Plant Protection 27(2): 4-7

The seeds of 548 accessions of 25 cultivars or lines collected from various parts of China were germinated and inoculated with Rhizoctonia cerealis Varder Hoeven in the laboratory. Plants were also planted in disease nurseries by inoculating with the pathogen after recovery in spring in 1998-2000 for evaluation of the resistance. Significant differences in resistance were noted among different cultivars or lines in both laboratory and disease nurseries.
