Field resistence to fruit anthracnose (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides) in tree tomato (Cyphomandra (Solanum) betacea (betaceum) Cav. Sendt.)

A field experiment was carried out from 15 August 1999 to 15 February 2000 in Antioquia, Colombia to evaluate the resistance of Cyphomandra uniloba accession 6975073 to fruit anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides Field resistance of 4 Cyphomandra betacea accessions, representing different types (red, yellow, parthenocarpic and mora or tamarillo), and one Cyphomandra materna accession were also evaluated.
