Genetic analysis of monocrotophos resistance in green lacewing, Chrysoperla scelestes Banks (Neuroptera : Chrysopidae)

Genetic analysis of monocrotophos resistant strain of green lacewing, C. scelestes, showed that additive as well as epistasis type genes played an important role in the expression of length of first instar larva. Toxicological tests revealed that additive as well as non-additive gene effects controlled the expression of this trait.
