Genetic variability of agronomic traits of adzuki bean in Hebei Province



Journal of Hebei Agricultural University 25(2): 17-20



Eighty-two local varieties of adzuki bean (Phaseolus angularis from Hebei Province, China, were studied. Agronomic traits such as average performance, heritability, genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV), and genetic advance were compared. Most of the varieties produced flourishing vegetative plants with good yield traits and relatively large grains.
