The use of granulosis virus in the management of insecticide (quinalphos) resistance in P. xylostella was investigated. The levels of glutathione transferase (GST) induced by quinalphos in resistant and susceptible insect populations were also investigated. Results showed that insecticide resistance did not affect viral susceptibility among the tested insect generations. Levels of GST was more in quinalphos resistant populations than susceptible ones.
