Growth and development behaviour of tomato plants (Lycopersicon esculentum, Mill) grown from seeds irradiated with X rays

Four cultivars (Lignon, Tropical Mallac-10, Campbell-28 and INCA 9-1) were irradiated with 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 Gy under controlled conditions and in the greenhouse. Data were collected on seed germination, seedling height, root length, shoot diameter, leaf area and earliness indexes (number of days to 100% germination and appearance of the third leaf).
