Growth comparison of Prunus rootstocks propagated by stooling, cuttings and in vitro. Part 2: Budded trees

Growth comparison of Prunus rootstocks propagated by stooling, cuttings and in vitro. Part 2: Budded trees

Erwerbsobstbau 44(5): 145-152

In a field experiment during 1996-97 the cherry rootstocks F.12/1, Colt and Weiroot-154 propagated by different methods were grafted with Hedelfinger scion. Data were collected on stem girth of rootstock and scion, shoot length, height of lateral shoots emergence and angle of lateral shoots. Generative growth was recorded as percentage of flowering scions in the second growth year.
