According to literature data, nitrogen fertilizers improve the effect of herbicides or good results can be achieved in weed control using much less herbicide rates. The most common practice was to complete glyphosate products, especially with ammonium sulfate. Among the results of several years' trials, this paper only presents our experience obtained with maize weeds treated at later growth stages.
