The effects of irrigation schedule and planting pattern on white rust (Albugo candida) and powdery mildew (Erysiphe cruciferarum) incidence and severity on Indian mustard Pusa Bold were studied in Parbhani, Maharashtra, India, during the rabi season of 1994/95. Irrigation was conducted at 50% branching, 50% branching + 50% flowering or 50% branching + 50% flowering + 50% siliqua development stages, or at 0.6 or 0.8 IW/CPE ratio.
