Irrigation scheduling of table grapes under drip irrigation: an approach for saving irrigation water and energy costs in Chile



International Water and Irrigation 22(2): 44-50



Table grape production in Chile is obtained exclusively under irrigated farming due to semiarid Mediterranean climate prevailing at the viticulture area. Water stress strategies, as related to berry size, cuticle firmness and pulp consistency, include both over-irrigation or deficit irrigation at any stage during the season.
