Management of greenhouse effluents: a status report for France. The quality of coarse water - part two

Management of greenhouse effluents: a status report for France. The quality of coarse water - part two

Infos Ctifl (182): 20-23

Data are presented on the contents of Ca, sulfates, Na, and chlorides in greenhouse waters in different parts of France, measured in 2001. The analyses show that in three cases out of four, the mineral quality of the water is unsuitable for a 100% recycling for cropping. Discharge of effluents is required on a daily basis to avoid an accumulation of elements.
