A buildup of phosphorus (P) is common in the plough layer of soils of Fars Province of Iran due to high rates of application of P fertilizers. The interaction between P and zinc (Zn) and iron (Fe) in plant nutrition is well documented in the literature. This pot experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of a high rate of P application on nutrition of wheat (Triticum aestivum) grown on calcareous soils. A 6x3 factorial design in randomized blocks with 3 replications was employed.
