New strategy for the field management of anthracnose (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides (Penz.) Penz. & Sacc.) of mango (Mangifera indica L.)



Fitopatologia Colombiana 24(1/2): 21-28



The effect of various treatments (fungicide sprays, pruning, pruning + fungicide sprays) on anthracnose (C. gloeosporoides -infected mangoes (M. indica) was investigated in Magdalena, Colombia during 1993-95. The parameters tested were disease incidence and severity, percent healthy fruits, percent fruit trading, cost, cost benefit relationship and production value.
