The effect of N and P concentrations in the MS medium on the growth of in vitro cultured P. glomerata plants was investigated. One-node segment without leaves from in vitro cultured plants were grown on 5 levels of N and P (0, 25, 50, 100, and 150% of the strength of the MS medium). After 15 days of inoculation, root number and rooting percentage were greatest when the levels of N and P was 50% strength of the MS medium.
