Nutrient composition of semolina of different grades of dicoccum wheat varieties in comparison with durum and bread wheat

Nutrient composition of semolina of different grades of dicoccum wheat varieties in comparison with durum and bread wheat

Karnataka Journal of Agricultural Sciences 15(4): 753-755

The grain nutrient composition of different grades of Triticum dicoccum cultivars DDK-1009, DDK-1001 and NP-200; T. durum cultivars DWR-2006 and DWR-185; and T. aestivum DWR-162 was determined. T. aestivum recorded the highest moisture (14.76 g/100 g). T. dicoccum NP-200 recorded the highest moisture content (16.49 g/100 g) and fat content (2.61 g/100 g), which was at par with that of T. durum DWR-185 (2.53 g/100 g).
