Patterns of seed dispersal in a scattered forest tree species (Sorbus torminalis) based on multi-scale investigation of population genetic structure for chloroplast DNA

Patterns of seed dispersal in a scattered forest tree species (Sorbus torminalis) based on multi-scale investigation of population genetic structure for chloroplast DNA

Genetic response of forest systems to changing environmental conditions: 271-280

The wild service tree (Sorbus torminalis) is a post-pioneer temperate forest species, that occurs at low population density. In such species, where populations go through frequent extinction and recolonization, seed migration is expected to be an important component of gene flow dynamics.
