Performance of Ronstar as a herbicide in transplant aman rice

An experiment was carried out to evaluate the efficiency of Ronstar 25 EC as a herbicide in transplant aman rice. There were seven treatments: no weed control; Ronstar at 1.0 litre/ha; Ronstar at 1.5 litre/ha; Ronstar at 2.0 litre/ha; Ronstar at 2.5 litre/ha; Ronstar at 3.0 litre/ha; and conventional weed control. Results indicated that the application of higher rates, i.e. 2.0 litre/ha or more, achieved complete control of all the weed masses growing in the field.
