Physiological, haematological and growth responses of crossbred male calves under two housing conditions

Physiological, haematological and growth responses of crossbred male calves under two housing conditions

Indian Journal of Animal Sciences 73(2): 202-203

ISSN/ISBN: 0367-8318

This study was conducted to determine the changes in physiological, haematological, and growth parameters under different housing conditions of crossbred calves. Ten crossbred male calves were selected from the NDRI herd and divided into 2 groups of 5 each. The experiment was conducted from February to May. Group 1 (experimental) was housed under modified housing conditions (windscreens, bedding, and cold water shower), whereas group 2 (control) was kept under existing conditions.
