Polymorphism of SSR markers in several wheat cultivars with high resistance to pre-harvest sprouting

To select parents for a mapping population, 32 simple sequence repeat markers were used to analyse 10 wheat cultivars, which included 7 preharvest sprouting-resistant cultivars and 3 preharvest sprouting cultivars. Seventy-five percent polymorphism was observed. The cluster analysis indicated that there was a high genetic similarity among the preharvest sprouting-resistant wheat cultivars except for SK2.
