This paper presents and discusses the preparation conditions (involving pre-hydrolysis, pulping, ozone, and alkali extraction) of cellulose pulp or dissolving pulp from empty fruit bunches (EFB) using chemical technologies and methods. Pulping process used soda-anthraquinone.
