The productivity and fruit quality of 13 sweet orange cultivars on citrumelo Swingle rootstock were evaluated at the Bebedouro Citrus Experimental Station, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The plants were established in December 1990. Results from 1994-98 trials showed that cultivars Sao Miguel and Telde had the highest fruit and juice production (41.20 and 40.42 t/ha; and 22.51 and 21.34 t/ha, respectively). Sao Miguel had the highest soluble solids content (2.65 t/ha).
