Reaction of six bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) genotypes to three isolates of Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht f. sp. phaseoli Kendrick and Snyder

The reaction of six bean cultivars (Pinto Villa, Fisher, CO33142, MAM38, LEF2RB, and A55) to isolates AB-6 and AB-111 of F. oxysporum f. sp. phaseoli (Fop) from Spain was evaluated and compared to CO1 isolate from Colorado, USA. A55 and LEF2RB bean genotypes had a resistant reaction to all Fop isolates tested. Fisher and CO33142 were resistant to CO1 but were susceptible to AB-6. Pinto Villa showed susceptibility to AB-6 and intermediate susceptibility to AB-111 and CO1.
