An investigation was carried out during 1998-99 and 1999-2000 at Udaipur, Rajasthan, India to study the residual effect of weed management (weedy control; handweeding once; fluchloralin at 1 kg/ha; alachlor at 1.5 kg/ha; oxyfluorfen at 0.125 kg/ha) and phosphorus (0, 20, 40 and 60 kg P/ha) treatments applied to previous crop of Indian mustard (Brassica juncea) on fodder maize (Zea mays G 2) and weeds in the summer season.
