Response of Chinese cabbage (Brassica chinensis L.) to nitrogen and phosphorus under temperate climatic conditions of Himachal Pradesh

Response of Chinese cabbage (Brassica chinensis L.) to nitrogen and phosphorus under temperate climatic conditions of Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Journal of Agricultural Research 26(1/2): 173-174

A field experiment was conducted at Kukumseri, Himachal Pradesh, India, during summer of 1997-99 to study the effects of N (0, 50, 100, and 150 kg/ha) and P (0, 25, and 50 kg/ha) on B. chinensis Palampur Green. Pooled data indicated that the increase in N rate gave a corresponding increase in yield, net returns, and cost benefit ratio.
