Response of organic and inorganic fertilizers in normal and saline soils on wheat (Triticum aestivum)

A study was conducted to assess the effect of organic and inorganic fertilizers on wheat WH 283 in normal and saline soils in Haryana, India, during 1999-2000. Treatments comprised: two soil types (normal (NS) and saline soils irrigated with canal water (SS)); three farmyard manure (FYM) levels (0, 10 and 20 t/ha); and three fertilizer levels (0, 25% less than the recommended rate (RR), full RR (150:60:30 kg N:P2O5:K2O/ha) and 25% more than the RR).
