Screening of various rice germplasm for resistance to leaffolder, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Guenee)

Field screening experiments were conducted during kharif of 1998 and 1999 at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, under natural infestation by leaffolder, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis. Of the 100 rice cultivars screened, only twenty-two showed a consistent damage rating of 1 during both years.
