Seasonal dynamics of environmental factors and decomposition rate of litter in Leymus chinensis community in Songnen grassland in Northeast China

This paper discusses the seasonal dynamics of eleven environmental factors, including microorganism respiration rate, soil organic matter content, ratio of carbon to nitrogen in soil, soil temperature, soil water content and decomposition rate of litter in a Leymus chinensis community. The seasonal dynamics of the decomposition rate of litter showed a single-peak curve with the maximum 4.285 mg/g per day in the middle of August.
