Seedling growth of Acacia mearnsii according to the vermicompost doses

A greenhouse study was conducted to evaluate the effect of different application rates (0, 56, 112, 168 and 224 cm3) of vermicomposts on the growth of Acacia mearnsii seedlings in paperpot containers with a capacity of ~280 cm3 of soil substratum. The decomposed bark of Pinus sp. and vermiculite, with a volumetric proportion of 1:1 with different vermicompost rates, were utilized as the substratum for seedling production. Seedling development slowed down as application rate increased.
