A study was conducted to evaluate the effect of different sowing dates (15 October, 30 October, 15 November, 30 November and 15 December) in the agronomic traits of five soyabean (Glycine max) cultivars (BRS 132, BRS 133, BRS 134, BR 16 and FT-Estrela) in Maringa, Parana, Brazil, in 1999/2009. During crop development, the agronomic traits evaluated were the number of days to flowering and maturation, plant height, degree of the plant layering and seed yield.
