Stability for grain yield and quality traits in durum (Triticum durum Desf.) strains derived from T. durum x T. timopheevi crosses

Annals of Agricultural Research 22(2): 212-216

Twenty-one true breeding durum derivatives evolved from T. durum x T. timopheevii, and 4 durum wheat (T. durum) parental cultivars, were evaluated for stability in grain yield and quality traits under 5 different environments in India. Stability analyses showed that none of the genotypes was stable for all characters tested. However, genotypes DWL 5023 and B 188 were the most stable for grain yield.
