Healthy and uniform rhizomes of ginger were inoculated with Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. zingiberi and F. solani and incubated at 26+or-1 degrees C. Observations on the percentage of storage rot of ginger were recorded after 24, 48 and 72 h; 1, 2 and 3 weeks; and 1 month. The percentage of storage rot increased with increasing incubation period.
