Study of control system adjusting quantity of seedling for rice transplanter (Part 2) - detection of planted seedling and control of seedling feeding



Journal of the Japanese Society of Agricultural Machinery 65(1): 136-142



The objective of this research is to control the quantity of seedling released by the rice transplanter. In part 1, we reported the transplanting of mat seedling in small area in a hill. In this paper, we developed seedling and hill space detectors, and we tested them in fields. Result showed that the machineries fulfilled the requirements for the detector.
