Sustainability of productivity in rice (Oryza sativa)-rice sequential cropping system through integrated nutrient management in coastal ecosystem

An experiment was conducted during both rainy and winter seasons from 1993 to 1998, to determine the effect of integrated nutrient supply on crop productivity, system sustainability, soil fertility and weed dynamics in rice-rice system of coastal Andhra Pradesh (India). The rice-rice system required the application of 100% recommended fertilizers (60:40:0 and 120:40:0 N:P:K for the rainy and winter seasons, respectively) to double the system's productivity than that of the control.
