The effects of sowing time, sowing density and nitrogen fertilization on grain yield and yield structure of new spring triticale cultivars were examined in experiments conducted in 1998-2000. In pot experiments, MAH 1898 and MAH 1998 were generally less productive than MAH 2099 and MAH 2199 at all N rates. Grain yield per plant and 1000-grain weight were higher at a sowing rate of 400 seeds/m2 than at higher densities.
