The correlation between the metabolic profiles and milk yield of sixty, 4-year-old Holstein-Friesian dairy cows during early (48-51 days), middle (147-161 days) and late (180 days and over) lactation was investigated. Blood samples taken from 20 animals in each lactation stage were obtained for nalysis.
