Investigations were conducted in a nursery in Russia to study the effect of N90P60K90, chlor-free potassium fertilizers, and herbicides Gezagard [prometryn] and fenazon on the growth of pine [Pinus]. It is concluded that the use of herbicides in combination with slow-release fertilizers was promising for the growing of pine seedlings.
