Five new winter wheat genotypes (Lara, Lenta, Kruna, Fiesta and Perla) and one line of AG-45 were evaluated in 2 locations (Donji Miholjac and Kutjevo) in Croatia, during 1997-98 and 1998-99. In the first year, there was a high positive correlation between nearly all components of the grain yield. The most significant correlation was between the grain number per spike and grain yield.
