The genetic variability in the chlorophyll component of 16 mulberry genotypes, as well as its relationship with leaf area and yield of the crop were determined in a field experiment conducted in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Chlorophyll a, b and c, the total chlorophyll showed significant positive correlation with leaf area and yield. Except for chlorophyll c, all the chlorophylls showed high heritability and genetic advance.
