Twenty two cultivars were isolated as a result of studying the world assortment of garden roses, from which many natural bud variations (sports) were selected. The genealogy of these cultivars and variations of flower coloration in their sports were studied. It was shown that flower coloration may have a certain direction, depending on the origin of initial forms, i.e., on their genotype.
