The effects of introducing ethylene diamine spacer on the catalytic activity and the kinetic parameters of immobilized beta -galactosidase onto p-benzoquinone activated alginate beads surface have been studied. Different factors affecting the process such as concentration of ethylene diamine and reaction time have been studied.
