This review introduces the species and distribution of ice nucleation active bacteria (INA bacteria; including Pseudomonas syringae and Erwinia herbicola , factors affecting ice nucleation activity of these bacteria and the mechanism of inducing and aggravating frost injury to plants by the INA bacteria.
