Panicle uniformity and yield were analysed in 2 rice hybrid combinations (Liangyoupeijiu and E52) at different planting densities (9, 13.5 and 18 hills/m2). Plant height and panicle size were uniform. Heading period was shorter in spare planting compared to dense planting.
