Analysis of productivity change and research resource allocation in horticulture



Korean Journal of Horticultural Science and Technology 23(3): 356-361



This study estimates the growth rates of output, input and total factor productivity of Korean horticulture. It also analyses the efficiency of, and priority-setting in, horticultural research resource allocation. Over the whole period of 1981-2002, the average annual compound growth rate of horticultural output had been 4.44% while total input and total factor productivity had grown at an average rate of 1.69 and 2.71%, respectively.
