Analysis of the prevalent features of malaria during the later stages of malaria control in Anopheles anthropophagus distribution areas in Guangxi

The incidence of malaria during the later stages of malaria control in Anopheles anthropophagus distribution areas in Guangxi, China, during 1998-2003 was investigated. Data on blood smear examination from febrile patients among the local residents and mobile population, and results of immunofluorescence surveillance among focus residents were collected from 15 counties and retrospectively analysed. The annual blood examination rate was 0.28-10.8%.
