Bacterial antagonists of rice sheath blight disease in China

It is necessary to understand the bacterial species from paddy rice in respect to antagonists against sheath blight of rice for effective management of the disease in China. During period of 1996-2002, around 11 635 bacterial isolates were isolated from 921 samples of rice seeds and plants from Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian and Yunnan provinces.
