Biological control of Ceratocystis paradoxa - the incitant of pineapple disease of sugarcane

Biological control of Ceratocystis paradoxa - the incitant of pineapple disease of sugarcane

Journal of Mycology and Plant Pathology 34(1): 105-106

In vitro and in vivo experiments were conducted to determine the efficacy of Trichoderma viride, T. harzianum, Gliocladium virens, Chaetomium globosum, Pseudomonas fluorescens and Bacillus subtilis against pineapple disease (Ceratocystis paradoxa) of sugarcane. In the in vitro experiments, all the biological control agents were antagonistic to Ceratocystis paradoxa but with different degrees of antagonism.
