The biology of Anisodes sp., a pest of E. grandis in Vicosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil, was studied under laboratory conditions (25+or-2 degrees C, 60+or-10% relative humidity, and 12-h photoperiod). The larvae were reared on seedlings of E. grandis, and on young and old leaves of E. grandis and P. guajava.
